Description
Our honey is made by our local honey bees from flowers found to the South East of York along the River Derwent.
It is extracted and filtered in a way that retains the fantastic flavours from the local flora.
Rural York has a diverse selection of wild flowers, woodland and farmed crops which, in conjunction with our locally bred honey bees, produces a light and floral honey.

Derwent Honey is two beekeepers (and thousands of bees!) producing high quality local honey from the countryside to the South East of York.
We leave plenty of honey for our bees but in a good year there is some to share with friends, and customers in the local area. Our honey is made from many sources of wildflowers and crops along the River Derwent.
We hope you enjoy it and thank you for supporting your local beekeepers.
